Therapy Tailored to YOU

My aim is to tailor therapy to you.

Based on your needs, I can use a variety of techniques I have been trained in to help with personal growth and development. Therapy with me is collaborative and we work as a team to reach your goals. Below are just a few of the types of therapy I use with clients.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT therapy can help you to:

  • Examine and clarify life values

  • Practice informal mindfulness techniques - focus on the present, not the past or future

  • Drop the struggle with unwanted or recurrent thoughts

  • Acknowledge and accept thoughts and feelings as they come and go

  • Take committed action toward what you want to achieve

  • Separate yourself from your thoughts and feelings while taking steps in the direction that makes your life more meaningful

Compassion Focused Therapy

CFT can help you to:

  • Practice treating yourself with kindness, care, and understanding - even in the face of difficulty, failures, and mistakes

  • Realize that suffering and imperfection are part of our shared human experience

  • Hold your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental manner

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT therapy can help you to:

  • Make sense of the patterns you get stuck in when conflict or distance shows up

  • Understand what each of you is really needing underneath the arguments or silence

  • Reconnect by sharing emotions in a way that feels safer and more supported

  • Repair old resentments that may still be showing up in the present

  • Learn how to turn toward each other instead of away when things get hard

  • Build a stronger, more secure bond where both of you feel loved, seen, and understood

Solution Focused Therapy

SFT can help you to:

  • Focus on immediate goals

  • Find the strengths and resources you have to execute your goals

  • Work collaboratively with me to find creative solutions to some of your problems

  • Find solutions in only a few therapy sessions
